PRIDE
Join Community Church and march in NYC Pride!
Community Church is excited to once again join the NYC Pride March on Sunday, June 28! CLICK HERE TO RSVP!
We’ll be joined by Unitarian Universalists from congregations across the metro area, including Fourth Universalist, the First Unitarian Society of Brooklyn, and All Souls NYC, and Community UU in White Plains. Whether you’re LGBTQ+ or an ally, everyone is welcome to join our contingent in celebrating and supporting the queer community.
We will meet in Greeley Square Park at 3:30pm to distribute wristbands, and then walk together to our staging point on the parade route. We anticipate arriving at the end of the parade route by 6pm, and there are exit points along the route for those that need to leave earlier.
Families and people of all ages are welcome. To help make the day more accessible and comfortable, we’ll have a van traveling with our group to carry supplies and provide a place for brief rest breaks if anyone needs time out of the sun.
If you plan to march, please wear comfortable walking shoes, bring plenty of water and sunscreen, and feel free to bring a sign. Most importantly, bring your PRIDE!
