Streetsingers

 

A choral group. Coordinator: Cheryl Lisbin-Sifuentes

The Streetsingers gather to rehearse most Tuesdays (except holidays) at 7pm at 28 East 35th St, usually on the 3rd Floor.
 

NEW YORK CITY STREETSINGERS CHARTER


Background: The NYC Streetsingers is a chorus with a multicultural focus, founded by Pete Seeger in 1992. The Streetsingers sing in a variety of musical styles and perform in many settings – street fairs, coffeehouses, Clearwater festival.

Purpose: The Streetsingers are committed to Social Justice and to bringing the people of New York City together using the power of music.

Membership: The Streetsingers are open to members of Community Church and to the general public. A member of the group who is a member of the church serves as liaison to the church.

Meetings: The Streetsingers rehearse every Tuesday at Community Church at 7pm
