For each room:

* All payments for the use of our facilities are contributions which directly support the religious and charitable ministries of the Community Church of New York Unitarian Universalist.
- Certain non-profit groups may be eligible for special rates – contact the Administrator for details.
- Sunday Availability: All spaces in our facilities are reserved for use by our congregation on Sundays and are not available for other uses before 4 pm on those days.
- Reservation Confirmation: Reservations for use of any of our spaces are not considered “confirmed” until a signed written agreement and requested deposit have been received and processed by the church office.
- Effective July 1, 2010 the following surcharges will be assessed (when applicable) for events in the main church building:
--- $500 - Late closing (applies to all events ending after 10 pm unless authorized in advance and in writing)
--- $50 - Piano use (applies to our quality Steinways; helps cover costs of upkeep and tuning)
Additional charges may apply.
Note regarding accessibility: The main church building (40 East 35th Street) has barrier-free elevator access to both upper and lower levels. The John Haynes Holmes Community House (28 East 35th Street) is less readily accessible - there are 5 stairs between the sidewalk and front entrance and no elevator service.
